Teacher and mentor checks

How Adults Can Support This Page

  1. Approve the sponsor contact plan before a student asks for money, supplies, space, or public support.
  2. Check that the request matches the approved project and does not create safety, cost, or communication problems.
  3. Tell students which sponsor replies, receipts, approvals, and thank-you evidence should be saved.

Before Asking

The request should be specific and school-appropriate. Students should know who they are contacting, what they are asking for, and how the support connects to the approved project.

What To Save

Keep the sponsor name, contact date, request, adult approval, response, materials received, and any required thank-you evidence.

Staff Check

Outside support can affect safety, cost, school policy, and public communication. A quick teacher check prevents messy surprises later.
